UAB Stuburo Linija (hereinafter referred to as BaSOMA.org) places great importance on the quality of organized events. These event organization rules establish the procedures for training sessions and outline the mutual rights and obligations of the training participant (hereinafter referred to as the Participant) and UAB Stuburo Linija (hereinafter referred to as BaSOMA.org).
1.1. The Participant registers for courses organized by BaSOMA.org on the website www.basoma.org and provides their email address. By registering for events organized by BaSOMA.org, the Participant confirms that they have read these rules and receives an invoice for payment for participating in the training.
1.2. The Participant receives a confirmation email acknowledging the registration. From the moment this confirmation is sent, it is considered that an agreement between BaSOMA.org and the Participant regarding participation in the training has been established and holds legal validity.
1.3. No later than 1 business day before the start of the training, BaSOMA.org sends a reminder about the training and the training agenda to the Participant’s provided email address.
1.5. On the day of the training, at the start of the event, BaSOMA.org provides the Participant with any distributed materials (if applicable).
1.6. BaSOMA.org issues a certificate to the Participant, which is handed out at the end of the training or sent via mail to the address specified in the registration form within 10 business days from the event date.
2.1. The participation fee for the seminar, as indicated on the invoice, must be paid by the specified deadline.
2.2. Payment for the event can be made via bank transfer to UAB Stuburo Linija‘s account or through other electronic payment methods provided during registration.
2.3. Discounts are applied based on the Participant’s attendance at other seminars and practical courses organized by BaSOMA.org.
3.1. BaSOMA.org reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the seminar without notice or change the date and/or location of the training. In the event of cancellation, all fees paid by the Participant will be refunded.
3.2. If the date or location of the training changes, the Participant’s paid fee will be refunded (excluding bank charges), provided that the Participant informs BaSOMA.org in writing (via email at info@basoma.org) about their withdrawal from the seminar within 5 business days after receiving the notification of the changes. In this case, BaSOMA.org will not compensate for any additional losses incurred by the Participant.
4.1. The Participant has the right to withdraw from the seminar, unilaterally terminating the agreement by notifying BaSOMA.org:
4.1.1. If the Participant notifies of the contract termination at least 30 calendar days before the start of the training, the paid fee will be refunded based on the advance payment invoice, minus a 10% administration fee (but no more than 50 EUR).
4.1.2. If the Participant notifies of the contract termination less than 30 calendar days before the start of the training, they must compensate BaSOMA.org with 50% of the participation fee as indicated on the invoice. Alternatively, 50% of the paid amount can be credited towards another BaSOMA.org seminar, practical course, or conference.
4.1.3. If the Participant notifies of the contract termination less than 7 days before the start of the seminar or fails to attend, they must compensate BaSOMA.org with 100% of the participation fee as indicated on the pre-issued invoice. The Participant retains the option to transfer their right to participate in the event to another person.
5.1. All claims related to this agreement must be submitted to BaSOMA.org in writing no later than the day of the seminar.
5.2. By registering for events organized by BaSOMA.org, the Participant agrees that their provided personal data may be used for registration processing and direct marketing purposes by BaSOMA.org. All personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable EU legal regulations (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to third parties without the Participant’s written consent.
